Hoya filter holder for square and rectangular filters of the Sq100 series, but it is also compatible with filters of 100mm width from other manufacturers.
The body of the holder is made of aluminium, the filter slots are made of plastic. The holder is assembled with two slots for two square filters, the third slot is packaged separately and can be screwed on at any time.
The holder is equipped with a black gasket in the front of the body, which minimize light leak. This is important in the case of using strong ND filters, where exposures are achieved in seconds or minutes.
The kit also includes a circular polarizer filter. The special design of the holder and the geared adapter allows you to screw in the polarizer so that it does not restrict work with square filters. In addition, convenient and precise rotation of the filter is ensured by polarizer control wheel on the side of the holder, which is easily accessible. The polarizer is equipped with a water repellent multi-coating, making cleaning easy and stress-free. The polarizer adopts a high transparency polarizing film for fast shutter speed. This translates to no less than nearly 1/2 stop more light entering the lens while yielding the same polarization effect. An absolute advantage for shooting in low light conditions.
The holder is mounted on the lens using Geared Adapters, the kit package includes adapters with a diameter of 86mm and 82mm. For other lens sizes, the respective adapter rings can be purchased separately.
Compatible filters: all filters of the Sq100 series and 100mm square and rectangular filters of other manufacturers with a thickness of up to 2mm
