Benro Magnetic Filters Sytsem

The Benro magnetic filter system enables convenient and quick use of filters by simply placing them on the front of the lens.

Advantages of the system:
- quick and convenient use of filters without screwing
- the possibility to stack more filters
- filters are thinner and lighter, in the case of stacking several filters on top of each other, it is possible to achieve significant savings in the thickness of such a system

How to use Benro magnetic filters?
The Benro magnetic filter system is based on 82 mm filter size. The filters have a special thin magnetic ring without threads. In order to attach such a filter to the lens, it is necessary to screw a Benro magnetic ring onto the lens, which serves as an intermediate piece.

I have a lens with 82mm filter thread, what do I need?
Since the Benro magnetic filter system is based on the 82mm filter size, the are two simple options:

1. Use the Benro Magnetic Fix Ring 82mm.
The ring is screwed onto the lens, then the magnetic filters are simply attached to the lens from the front.

2. Use the UV filter Benro Magnetic UV 82mm.
It is the only magnetic filter that has a thread to screw onto the lens. The filter is screwed onto the lens, then the magnetic filters are simply attached to the UV filter from the front. This solution is suitable for users who prefer to use a UV filter for permanent lens protection. At the same time, there is no need to use the Magnetic Fix Ring, since the UV filter also fulfills its function.

I have a lens with a diameter other than 82mm, what do I need?
If the lens has a diameter other than 82mm, just use a Benro magnetic reduction ring with the corresponding diameter. For example, the 82-67mm magnetic ring allows you to use Benro magnetic filters on a 67mm lens.

Do I need anything else?
The magnetic filter system is simple and, in principle, it is no longer necessary to use other accessories for its full use. Since magnetic filters do not have a front thread and the front surface of the filter ring is used to possibly attach another magnetic filter, it is not possible to use the original lens cap. If the user plans to leave a magnetic ring or a magnetic filter attached to the lens, it is advisable to purchase a special magnetic lens cap.

Benro Magnetic SHD True Night ULCA WMC 82mm

Special filter for night photography and video from the Benro magnetic filter series.

The filter is mounted conveniently and quickly by simply placing it on the lens from the front (it is necessary to use a suitable magnetic ring or a Benro magnetic UV filter).

The Benro True Night Filter is designed to reduce the appearance of light pollution in images or video that include the night sky and illumination from artificial light sources.

Light pollution occurs in areas of the night sky that are above or near concentrated and intense sources of artificial light such as cities. These light sources can include exterior and interior lamps for commercial or residential buildings, brightly lit advertisements such as billboards, streetlamps, as well as sports and entertainment venues. Together, they can result in a type of light pollution known as skyglow, where individual stars, the Milky Way, and other astronomical features in the night sky are obscured. Additionally, artificial lights clustered together can become difficult to individually discern. Light pollution from these "cluttered" sources can become a source of distraction within an image and can resemble overexposed areas of glare.

When used, the Benro True Night Filter can improve the results of nighttime images by absorbing the yellow light from sodium-vapor lamps, mercury-vapor lamps, or low color rendering index LEDs, common light sources within urban areas. By preventing the dominant wavelengths of light associated with the color of those lamps from being recorded, the visibility of astronomical objects is enhanced, and where they appear, artificial light sources are more clearly defined with less glare and improved contrast.

Main features:
High Quality Optics - special glass which can effectively reduce the impact of artificial lights on night scene
HD Optical Technology - provides an extremely flat optical surface for brilliantly sharp images with no ghosting
ULCA Multi-Coating - decreases flare and significantly reduces chromatic aberration
NANO WMC Coating - scratch-resistant multi-coating that repells water and oil making it easier to clean
Slim Filter Ring Design - reduces vignetting, keeps the profile of the filter more compact
